WHY THIS COURSE?

When I started-out as a photographer, my lighting technique was very inconsistent.

It was literally a guessing game.

Sometimes I’d get lucky, and sometimes I’d struggle.

After a few years of teaching myself, and assisting other photographers—who were levels above me, I wanted to create a simple methodology for ANYONE to use in ANY studio condition.

  • Vincent’s workshop is a fantastic crash course in lighting people. He made it easy to follow and made sure I was understanding all the I formation he was sharing. There was a good mix of foundational stuff and things that made me think a little differently about how I approach lighting. He’s genuinely kind and makes everything feel approachable. You can tell he cares about people actually understanding what he’s teaching, not just getting through the material. The iPad presentation he put together was easily understandable and can be a great tool for any photographer to refer back to. Overall, this workshop is a wonderful tool for photographers who are wanting to up their level in lighting and nailing those killer images they see high end photographers creating.

  • I very much enjoyed taking Vince's course. As someone who has been more of a landscape photographer, getting in a studio really intimidated me. Vince allowed me the space to play with setups without feeling pressured. He talked through best practices for a seamless workflow and how to clearly direct models so that everyone leaves feeling good. After taking his class, I now feel confident going into a studio session on my own. I 100% recommend to anyone just starting out or wanting to level up their photography!

  • I’ve been shooting for the past 8 years and avoided learning studio lighting the whole time. I couldn’t wrap my head around the power settings on a flash. I had been looking for a small class to get some hands-on experience/youtube tutorials. I tend to work better with the equipment in my hand! Vince’s class was so easy to understand and he broke down his workflow on how to always get it right. There aren’t many opportunities to get to work with other talented photographers in their workplace but Vince really opened my eyes!
